About Us 1

Balanced Being, Inc. was founded in Olympia, Washington in 2000. Since then, we’ve grown a practice of integrated healing around the care of our nation’s Heroes and other members of the community living with the effects of trauma.

Four out of seven providers at Balanced Being are Veterans. Seven out of eight staff members have close family who have served our country in a military or first responder capacity. We are proud to provide integrated healing services to those who have been impacted by the unique experiences of combat and first-line service.

We partner with the Association for Integrated Healing, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial support for Heroes whose VA benefits may not adequately cover integrated healing treatment. Veterans can visit ihealing.org to apply for a personal grant that can help cover treatment costs. Anyone who feels passionately about helping our Heroes heal can make a donation to AIH.
